HMS Victory
With reference to my last post, and for those of you not familiar with HMS Victory, she was Nelson’s flagship at the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805.
She is still in commission, and is in fact the oldest commissioned warship in the world.

EyeEm
You may have heard of EyeEm, an app similar to Instagram. I have been trying it for a few days, and first impressions are that it has a very active community. I also like the ability to follow those genres of photography that most interest you.

New Look
There are of course plenty of Tumblr themes, but the ones I have tried to date were always lacking something. I have been looking for months to find a theme that does not distract the viewer from the pictures, one that provides a sensible level of flexibility, and links in with social media.
And finally I have found one. My blog is now sporting the new look, and I think it looks rather good.

Strange, how a picture I was in two minds about posting generates so much interest on Tumblr, whereas pictures I love cause barely a ripple of interest. I wonder what that says about my taste in photography?!
